Near Currambine station and along Lakeside Drive, are largely early-1990s planned stock , now about thirty years old and reaching their first real maintenance cycle. And the suburb wraps the eastern edge of Lake Joondalup and the Yellagonga wetland , so for the lakeside estates the water table and drainage deserve attention. Being well inland. 26 km north and sitting on a lake rather than the coast, the salt-driven concerns that dominate the beach suburbs, delignification included, are a low priority here. The findings are about age, water and construction type rather than sea air.
